These are the guidelines by which we form our articles. They will help explain how and why the Wiki has its own particular style of doing things.
Language and Spellings[]
This wiki uses American/British spellings, grammar rules, and terminology.
Style of Formatting[]
On various types of pages, there is a certain format to follow for each of them. The different types of pages and the categories to be featured in said pages will be featured below. If you have any questions about how to format like how to add bullet points type in your question followed by 'Wikia' into any search engine.
Vehicle Characters[]
The first piece of info is the basic outline of what a character is, what he/she does and where do they live.
Personality[]
This is where a character's personality is described. Some characters may already have some bios written out on the Crotoonia website or on bios on Milan's DeviantART.
Biography[]
This describes what the character has done in their screen time throughout episodes of Crotoonia, Railside Tales and Crotoonian Conversations shorts. This doesn't require what has happened to them every single episode but it does need some of their first appearances and most major roles in a decent description.
Technical Details[]
Basis[]
If an engine has a basis, talk about what it is here. If they don't, either say Character X' is not based on a specific prototype" and if you'd like just theorise on what real life class of engine or type of vehicle it resembles e.g. "Old Puffer Pete appears to be a freelance design, with no real known locomotive prototype. However, his design does bare some resemblance to the Japanese Baldwin 4-4-0 D8, and a DRG Class 62, but cut down to a 4-4-0."
Livery[]
This gives a detailed description of what an engine's livery looks like.
Trivia[]
- If needs be, give a few snippets of trivia about the character.
- But please make sure they are set in bullet points as seen here.
